The Thessalonians were going through much trial, tribulation and persecution. In II Thessalonians 1:2 Paul writes, May God our Father (how wonderful to be His children), and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace. (In the midst of all they were going through). Continue reading

Jeremiah 29:11: “For I am conscious of my thoughts about you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope at the end.” This is such an amazing verse that actually shows us that God not only loves us, cares about us and has plans for us, but imagine this: God actually is “thinking” about us! Wow! How awesome is that? Then the verse goes on to say the he has thoughts of “peace” and “hope at the end”. That is so comforting when I am facing situations in life that seem impossible. There is one thing that I have learned, through experience, that God is a God of truth and the assurance of His peace and hope is absolutely wonderful.
For behold a Savior is born in Bethlehem who is Christ the Lord! And the government shall be upon HIS shoulders, the Almighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Price of Peace is He! YEA! So we don’t have to worry about our present government, and all that happening around us, for we have a hope and a future which far surpasses all this now. This land is not our home, as we are merely sojourners or (visitors) in a foreign land (down here), just passing through on our way to our home made without hands for us in Heaven. Wow what a wonderful future we all have, so let us look up, for our redemption draws nearer each day! All of this is temporary, our trials, our tests, our good days and our bad days. We can now rejoice in all that the Father has planned for us, “eyes have not seen nor ears heard, neither has it entered into the heart of man, the things that God has prepared for those who love Him.” Oh what a wonderful season this is, to rejoice solely in Him, who gave us the most precious wonderful gift He could ever give us, His Only Son. It is all because that little Baby was born in Bethlehem who was born to die for us, so that we might live. Therefore, when we sing our Christmas songs, let’s really listen to the words and meaning of each word that we are singing or listening to. They have so much meaning and can just lift our hearts and minds to the heights of Heaven which will be our eternal home, all because of Jesus’ willingness to obey His Father and go to the cross on our behalf, and the Father giving us His Dear Son for this purpose! God Bless You All and I wish you all a very very Merry Christmas.
We are embarking on a new era. Actually an old one, we are just making the swing back again;
